ENGINE

All internally lubricated engine parts including: pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft, main bearings, connecting rods, connecting rod bearings, camshaft, camshaft bearings, timing chain or belt (timing belt must be serviced according to manufacturer’s recommendations to qualify for coverage), timing gears, tensioners / guides, intake and exhaust valves, valve train, valve springs, valve guides, push rods, rocker arms, rocker arm shafts, lifters, oil pump and oil pump housing; intake & exhaust manifold; distributor shaft and housing; harmonic balancer; valve covers; timing gear cover; water pump; mounts; air filter housing; thermostatically controlled air intake; oil pan; engine block and heads are covered if damaged by the mechanical breakdown of an internally lubricated moving part.

TRANSMISSION

All internal parts; mounts; transmission pan and case are covered if damaged by the mechanical breakdown of an internally lubricated moving part.

AUTOMATIC: torque converter, front pump, planetary gear set, clutches; clutch apply piston, internal sealing rings, input and output shafts, roller clutches, bands, check balls, band apply servo, drums, centre support, governor assembly, vacuum modulator, valve body, stator and stator shaft, bushings, pressure regulator valve and bearings. CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission): transaxle assembly; valve body, CVT belt, and pulleys. DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission): Dual-clutch assembly.

MANUAL: Gears, shafts, bearings, bushings, counter shaft, synchronizers, synchronizer sleeves, detent balls, thrust washers, shift forks, levers, collars, and springs. Note: No Coverage is afforded for clutch assembly; slave cylinder; pressure plate; flywheel; throw-out bearing; worn synchronizers or cables.

HYBRID/ELECTRIC VEHICLE

Hybrid Control Unit(s) including inverter; stator and rotor; battery sensors; cooling fan; cooling duct(s); high voltage harness and junction box; electric drive motor(s); drive battery pack.

TURBO/SUPERCHARGER

All internal parts; housing is covered if damaged by the mechanical breakdown of an internally lubricated moving part.

TRANSFER UNIT

All internal parts; case is covered if damaged by the mechanical breakdown of an internally lubricated moving part.

DRIVE AXLE

All internal parts; “U” joints; propeller shafts; CV / Tripod joints; drive shafts, drive shaft yokes, drive shaft carrier, axle shafts, front hubs, locking hubs, differential case is covered if damaged by the mechanical breakdown of an internally lubricated moving part.

STEERING

All internal parts in rack and pinion; steering box; power steering pump; power steering cooler.

ELECTRICAL

Alternator; voltage regulator; starter motor, drive and solenoid; starter relay; front and rear wiper motor including circuit board, switches for power windows.

BRAKES

Master cylinder; wheel cylinders; calipers; combination valve; Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) electronic control unit; wheel speed sensors / exciters; hydraulic pump / motor assembly; accumulator; pressure modulator valve; isolation dump valve.

AIR CONDITIONING

Compressor; condenser; receiver dryer; accumulator.

COOLING

Radiator fan; engine cooling fan motors; water pump.

SEALS AND GASKETS

Seals and gaskets are covered for the above listed assemblies only in conjunction with a covered repair.

ENHANCED SEALS AND GASKETS (Included in Ultimate XO):

Seals and gaskets for all covered assemblies are covered independently or in conjunction with a covered repair.

HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION (OEM ONLY):

Coverage is provided for all of the Manufacturer installed mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components of the hydraulic suspension system, except for those items listed under “Exclusions”.

AIR BLADDER SUSPENSION (OEM ONLY):

Coverage is provided for all of the Manufacturer installed mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components of the air suspension system, except for those items listed under “Exclusions”.

Are your programs fully insured?

Yes, our programs are fully insured by “A” rated insurance companies.

How do I know if my vehicle is eligible for coverage?

If your vehicle is less than the current model year and 10 previous model years old and has less than 85,000 KM on the odometer, then we have coverage options for you.

What is covered under an Xtended Auto Service Agreement?

This depends on the level of coverage and any additional options you choose. Contact your Dealer or an Xtended Auto Representative for complete coverage details.

What else is included in my Extended Service Agreement purchase?

Our Xotic program comes with the additional benefits of Trip Interruption and Roadside Assistance.

Is there a deductible?

Yes, there are deductible options of $250, $500 and $1,000 dollars.

What is the limit that will be covered under my Xotic Series Auto Plan?

The total limit that will be covered per claim is the value of your vehicle at the time of breakdown. The total claims limit that will be paid out for the duration of your coverage is the purchase price of the vehicle.

How do I make a claim?

Take your vehicle to a repair facility; inform that service department that you have Xtended Auto coverage. The repair facility will diagnose the issue and contact our claims department for authorization for the repair. PRE-AUTHORIZATION MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE REPAIRS ARE STARTED. We deal directly with the repair facility to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

What happens if I sell my vehicle before the end of the term?

If you sell your vehicle, you can transfer your Xtended Auto coverage to the new owner, increasing the resale value of your vehicle.

Where do I go to get my vehicle repaired?

You can take your vehicle to any licensed repair facility of your choice.

How does the repair invoice get paid?

We deal directly with the repair facility, that means no out of pocket expenses for you.

Is there any additional options I can add to my coverage?

Yes, there is additional coverage options for your vehicles Air Bladder Suspension, Hydraulic Suspension and Enhanced Seals and Gaskets (which is included in our Ultimate XO coverage).
