A. This CONTRACT does not cover freight charges, shipping charges, core charges, storage charges, environmental fees, waste fees, shop supplies and hazardous waste removal.

B. This CONTRACT does not cover manual / hydraulic clutch assembly; clutch throw out bearing; friction clutch disc and pressure plate; any refitting, repositioning or realigning of hoses and rubber parts; spark / glow plugs and ignition wires; distributor cap and rotor; fuses; filters; consumables; air bag / supplemental restraint systems; seat belts and buckles; battery and cable; shore cords; extension power cords; lights and light fixtures; headlights; taillights; LED lights and light bulbs; shocks; weather stripping (except as specifically listed under slide-out rooms above); brake rotors / drums; brake pads, linings and shoes; lubricant seepage; exhaust system (except manifold) and emission systems (except as listed above); catalytic converter; Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF); Diesel Exhaust Fluid system components; Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve, cooler and components; Evaporative (EVAP) emissions control components; Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system; carburetors (including for generators); portable generators; constant velocity joint boots; wiper blades and windshield wiper arms; wiring (except as listed above); timing belt / chain (when not serviced according to manufacturer’s recommendations); bolts and fasteners (except as required with a COVERED REPAIR).

C. This CONTRACT does not cover bent axle tubes and housings; showers and bathtubs; peeling of formica and all laminated materials; roof sealant; calking or grouting; appliance doors; compartment, appliance and cabinet door latches, door seals, racks, handles, shelves, baskets and buckets, cabinets; the delamination of any appliance and / or its components; furniture; bedding; mattresses; cabinetry; vanities; windshield and window shades and coverings (except for associated motors); awning fabric, awning tube and awning arms;

D. This CONTRACT does not cover physical construction or structure / flooring / doors / windows / walls; alterations or upgrades resulting from COVERED REPAIRS(S); replacement of any part which is not failed but is recommended or needed due to the unavailability of parts.

E. This CONTRACT does not cover tablets; cell phone and other mobile devices; wireless remote controls; personal computers and printers; headphones; speakers; cable, satellite, telephone & internet / ethernet wiring; audio visual wiring / cables including but not limited to HDMI and RCA; phone systems*; internet access systems*; Televisions over 65”*; lane departure / collision control systems*; security systems*; touch screen panels*; mobile app-control systems*; wireless Wi-Fi Routers* & Wi-Fi and cell phone boosters* (*unless Deluxe Electronics Package has been purchased and applicable checkbox selected on the Registration page of this CONTRACT) ; software or firmware updates (except when required with replacement of a covered part);

F. This CONTRACT does not cover chrome; bright metal; paint; carpeting and all other floor coverings; trim; moldings; lenses; body parts; body panels; bumpers; canvas, vinyl or fabric; fabric walls and wood panels; fiberglass top; tires / wheels / rims (unless damaged by ROAD HAZARD and Tire & Wheel Road Hazard Protection option has been purchased and applicable checkbox selected on the Registration page of this CONTRACT); hubcaps; knobs / dials / buttons; handles; glass; glass framework and fastening adhesives; windshields; skylight assembly and parts; outside ornamentation; rust or corrosion; physical damage; cosmetic damage to any material including but not limited to discolouration, fading, peeling or cracking.

G. This CONTRACT does not cover routine maintenance including but not limited to suspension alignments, wheel balances, engine tune-ups, lubricants*, fluids*, air conditioning refrigerant*, hoses*and belts* (*except as required with a COVERED REPAIR); service adjustments and cleaning; body adjustments and cleaning; cosmetic adjustment or replacement; software or firmware updates.

H. This CONTRACT applies to mechanical / electrical defects in material and workmanship. This CONTRACT does not cover normal worn parts, adjustments, or to damage caused by:
1. neglect, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation or excessive / improper use, installation or service as deemed by US;
2. use of an accessory or part not manufactured or sold by an authorized dealer of the manufacturer;
3. removal of parts;
4. power surges; or
5. propane impurities.

I. This CONTRACT does not cover the gradual reduction of operating performance caused by normal wear and tear when the wear on the component does not exceed factory field tolerances; any repairs caused by product vibration or loose fasteners.

J. This CONTRACT does not cover loss or damage caused by accident, collision, roll-over, riots, fire, theft, vandalism, explosion, lightning, earthquake, windstorms, hail, volcano eruption, water or flood, misuse, abuse, civil disorder, act of war, nuclear incidents, or other acts of nature.

K. This CONTRACT does not cover any costs, expenses or equipment required to comply with law and / or regulations imposed or set forth by any governmental agencies.

L. This CONTRACT does not cover any incidental or consequential damages including damage to a non-covered part or a covered part caused by a covered MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN; or any covered part which is not broken down but which a repair facility recommends or requires be repaired, retrofitted, replaced, or where government / industry regulations disallow use of said part(s).

M. This CONTRACT does not cover shell separating or any damage due to freezing, rust, corrosion, electrolysis, salt, excessive exposure to environmental conditions, or improper storage / lay-up.

N. THIS CONTRACT DOES NOT COVER ANY MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN THAT EXISTS AT THE TIME OF THE RETAIL SALE OF THIS CONTRACT.

O. This CONTRACT does not cover any loss resulting from inadequate amounts of coolant, lubricant or fluids or damages resulting from overheating or freezing.

P. This CONTRACT does not cover any loss caused by improper, contaminated or degraded fuels or other fluids.

Q. This CONTRACT does not cover any loss as a direct result of the UNIT not being serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

R. This CONTRACT does not cover MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN covered under manufacturer’s warranty, other applicable warranties, guarantees, policies (including any recalls) or other product that would provide any additional coverage, regardless of their ability to pay for such repairs.

S. This CONTRACT does not provide coverage in the event of a MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN of the UNIT, during which any operation of the UNIT results in further damage related to the original MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN. Continued operation of the UNIT will be considered failure on the part of the CONTRACT HOLDER to protect the UNIT and will not be covered under this CONTRACT.

T. This CONTRACT will be cancelled if the Motorhome odometer has ceased to operate and has not been repaired immediately. This CONTRACT will be cancelled if the odometer has been altered by YOU or if an accurate odometer reading cannot be determined.

U. This CONTRACT does not cover COMMERCIAL USE UNITS, unless the Commercial Usage Surcharge is purchased and marked on the Registration page of this CONTRACT.

V. This CONTRACT does not cover any Used UNIT if the CONTRACT PURCHASE DATE and PRODUCT PURCHASE DATE are different, unless the Post-Sale Contract option is purchased and marked on the Registration page of this CONTRACT.

W. Towing Service benefit and the Emergency Roadside Assistance benefit do not cover cost of parts, replacement keys, fluids, lubricants, fuel, material, additional labour relating to towing, or the cost of installation of products. Non-emergency mounting or removing of any tires. Tire repair. Any recreational vehicles used in racing or for commercial purposes. Any fines. Damage or disablement due to fire, flood or vandalism. Towing from, or service or repair work performed at, a service station, garage or repair shop. Service on a recreational vehicle that is not in a safe condition to be towed. Impound towing or towing by other than an authorized service centre, vehicle storage charges or a second tow for the same disablement. Towing or service on roads not regularly maintained, such as sand beaches, open fields, forests and areas designated as not passable due to construction, etc. Towing at the direction of a law enforcement officer relating to traffic obstruction, impoundment, abandonment, illegal parking or other violations of law. Emergencies resulting from the use of intoxicants or narcotics, or the use of the recreational vehicle in the commission of an illegal activity. Only one disablement for the same service type during any seven (7) day period will be accepted. Repeated service calls for a recreational vehicle in need of routine maintenance or repair. Service secured through any source other than Xtended RV.

X. Diesel Wrap Coverage (if selected on the Registration page of this CONTRACT) does not cover Engine, Transmission, Drive Axle Assembly (front and rear) and Four Wheel Drive components.

Y. Motorhome Coach-Only Coverage (if selected on the Registration page of this CONTRACT) does not cover components or component groups listed under Section III. A. i.“Motorhome Chassis Coverage” above are not covered.

Z. Tire & Wheel Road Hazard Protection option (if selected on the Registration page of this CONTRACT) does not cover the following:
1. Any coverage benefits listed under Section III. F. “Coverage Benefits,” except for those listed in Section III. F. “Coverage Benefits,” 5. “Towing Service.” Towing benefits are only available to YOUR VEHICLE and are not extended to a vehicle owned by YOU which is towing YOUR VEHICLE, or a vehicle owned by YOU being towed by YOUR VEHICLE.
2. Tires that have 3/32" or less tread depth remaining at the lowest point on the tire.
3. Damage caused by negligence, abuse, misuse, collision, manufacturers’ defects, curb impact, valve or rim leaks, improper installation, broken tire belts, dry rot in either sidewall or tread, tire chains, racing or off-road use, vandalism, malicious mischief, chain damage, fire or theft.
4. Off-road vehicles and / or vehicles with off-road tires and / or wheels.
5. Vehicles with re-capped tires.
6. Custom wheels or tires.
7. Failure occurring from operating on any surface other than federal, provincial, county, city or municipality paved roads or highways.
8. If YOUR UNIT is used for racing or other competition, dealer loaners, limousine, taxi, police car or other emergency vehicle.
9. Tires and / or wheels that do not meet the manufacturers’ recommendations specific to YOUR UNIT.
10. Misuse occasioned from driving on tires that are over inflated, under inflated or flat or if YOU continue to drive on a run flat tire that exceeds the requirements listed in the owner’s manual specific to YOUR UNIT.
11. Repairs and / or replacements due to cosmetic imperfections.
12. Wheels that will not seal due to rust and corrosion.
13. Any consequential loss or damage whatsoever, including loss, damage or injury to person or property resulting from the failure of any parts of YOUR UNIT, the replacement of which are covered under the terms and conditions of this CONTRACT.
